課程目標 |
This course covers the fundamentals of semiconductor physics and device applications. Students will understand basic concepts of solid state physics, carrier transport in semiconductors, p/n junctions, and MOSFET. This course is a prerequisite to the course of electronic, optoelectronic, and quantum devices for logic applications, solid state physics, and VLSI technology. |

The followings are graduate-level reference books. The first is best-seller and must-have, which is the template for all new books in this area. You can use it as a textbook, too. The second is probably the best for MOSFETs, never see another textbook with so much detail. The third one is a great great reference for semiconductor properties and characterization of semiconductor devices. 1 and 3 are free download on NTU library.
